THE GROUNDS
Designed by two of France’s top landscape designers, the grounds are dotted with idyllic gardens and secret hideaways. The home is uniquely situated in and amongst apple orchards, and the landscaping strikes a tasteful balance of precision and relaxed simplicity.
West Grounds
As you enter through the gates of the property, you are immediately met by a long driveway lined with olive and cypress trees and exhilarating lavender plantings. There is a dramatic view of Mont Ventoux in the distance. Venture over to the newly constructed petanque piste for an afternoon game of lawn bowling, or take a moment to relax on the soon-to-be-finished yoga platform. The West Grounds meet at the sunset patio that is equipped with an authentic pizza oven.
East Grounds
The East Grounds are enchanted with 200 year old plane trees, creating pockets of shade to keep you cool from the Provencal sun. Surrounding the newly restored pool are rose gardens that come alive in the months of May and June. Take a moment to relax by the pool (16 sun loungers available)and listen to the sound of cigales sing as you sip on an afternoon glass of rose.
The Courtyard
One of the most loved areas of the home is its courtyard, secretly contained behind grand antique iron gates. Dine in one of the many alfresco dining areas or take a moment to relax from the afternoon sun in the alcove area of the courtyard.
